DJ Slice first began in the music industry back in 1983 where he DJ'd at parties and clubs in Houston, Texas. He and long time friend Michael 5000 Watts of Swishahouse were DJ'ing together way before Swishahouse ever began. In the early 90's, DJ Slice moved back to California to continue DJ'ing at various clubs and parties. His DJ'ing ventures enabled him to DJ a Dr. Dre Family party. Some of the more popular clubs where Slice DJ'd were Whiskey a Go Go, Lava Lounge, Opium Den, and 14 Below to name a few.  DJ Slice soon began to do studio work and tour with bands from different genres of music. DJ Slice toured with God Wheel.  God Wheel was a band created by Dave Aron who is Snoop Dogg's engineer. Slice also did some studio work with Dave Aron. He even toured with Steven Perkins' (Jane's Addiction) band called Banyan.  In the late 90's, DJ Slice began producing Hip Hop for local LA artists.  In 2003, DJ Slice came back to Houston to engineer for Swishahouse. DJ Slice engineered 90% of what came out of Swishahouse in 2003 and part of 2004. He engineered 90% of WHO IS MIKE JONES. He worked on most of the screwed albums coming out of Swishahouse. Through all his endeavors, he has met many musicians/artists from Slim Thug, Bun B, Dr. Dre, and Redman to Steven Perkins, Battle Cat, Super Fly and more. But, he always remains humble and grounded; and he learns from everyone he meets. 

He now professionally produces/engineers and remixes full-time.  Slice is out there promoting DJ SLICE in his spare time.  DJ SLICE created STROBELYFE ENTERTAINMENT.  He has been interviewed by DALLAS URBAN SOUND E-MAGAZINE, Sho'Nuff Magazine, True Magazine, Awready.com, Vibe.Com & many more.

He is "SLICIN & SCREWIN" albums/projects for many indie artists and most recently Yo Gotti of TVT.

He is DJ'ing in various clubs in Dallas and Houston (Obsessions, SYN Bar, Starck Club, Industry Cafe, T-Town, Coco Loco, Club What It Do, etc).  Most recently, DJ SLICE can be seen dj’ing for Mary J. Blige & Carol’s Daughter at Sephora Stores in Houston, Dallas, Miami, & more.

Along with that, He is creating beats for artists. You can click on the Production button and hear some of his beats. SLICE produced the 1st hit off of the ICE AGE VOL II Mixtape called "THE TRUTH".

DJ SLICE had the ALL SCREWED UP Show on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays at 1:00am (eastern time) HIP HOP FUNDAMENTALZ and on W.H.I.T. Radio both shows had to be suspended due to tour schedules.

Since joining forces with Mike Jones, DJ SLICE has appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Show, Dallas Summer Jam, BET’S Top 50 From the Durty South, Craig Ferguson Show, BET Awards Show, Hustle & Flow Party at the House of Blues, DUB Car Show & Concerts, MTV Hard Rock Live, MTV VMA’s, and MTV2 Sucka Free Concert Series. DJ SLICE was spinning on BET’S RAP CITY hosted by David Banner.  Mostly recently, DJ SLICE was on the hottest radio station in the UK…1Xtra BBC and on Down Radio XM Raw 66.
